Forecasting a 100% chance of fun! Our "It's a Night of Wild Weather" Family Night is one of the most exciting events of the year, and you're invited! Learn about amazing weather phenomena and then stick around for a FREE DINNER!

We are reaching out with an important reminder that we still have spots available in our Christmas Angel Tree program for students who may need extra assistance this holiday season. If your family needs support to make Christmas memorable for your student(s), we encourage you to sign up immediately. Spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Important Sign-Up Details & Deadline
Deadline: The linked Google Form must be completed by 12:00 PM (noon) on Friday, November 14th. We will not be able to accept applications after this time.
Action Needed: Please fill out the form ASAP to secure a spot for your child(ren) before all opportunities are filled.
Program Guidelines: If you choose to participate, please adhere to the following requirements: Eligibility: Children must be currently enrolled in Glenpool Schools. Siblings of Glenpool Students who are not yet school age may also be included. One Form Per Child: A separate Google Form must be completed for each child under 18 in your household.
Confidentiality Assurance: Please be assured that the names of participating students are kept strictly confidential and are not provided to the Angel Tree Adopters. Adopters receive only the necessary age, size, and wish list information.

Groundbreaking took place on Tuesday for the high school's addition and renovation project - the crown jewel of the bond issue passed by our community.
Students, parents, board members, staff, city officials, and representatives from Ethos Architecture and Miller Tippens all took a special part in starting this amazing project.

Week 1 of the Turkey Challenge was amazing. We are going to be able to help out so many families. The grade level that has the most points by the end of Turkey Challenge (Nov 14) will win FREE Freckles Ice Cream.
Current Point Totals
1st grade- 2,155 points
2nd grade- 7, 588 points
3rd grade-3,063 points
4th grade-4,690 points
Week 1 Giving Gator award will be announced on Monday. This award goes to the class in each grade with the most points.
Week 2 Bonus Items are
Monday- Breakfast Items (10 bonus points)
Tuesday- Soups (10 bonus points)
Wednesday- Pasta and Pasta Sauces (10 bonus points)
Thursday- All the Thanksgiving Fixings! (10 bonus points)
Friday- 40 points for every $1

Our annual Turkey Challenge start Monday, November 3rd. All items collected will be given to Mercy Mission to help with their annual Thanksgiving Baskets. Thank you so much for your support with our Turkey Challenge! We have 2 challenges happening this year to inspire students to support the families of our community.
1. Feathers for Families Challenge
Each grade level will compete to earn feathers for their grade level turkey (displayed at the front entrance)!
💵 For every $50 raised, your grade earns one feather.
Each feather will represent a meal we are able to help provide for needy families. Let’s fill those turkeys with feathers!
2. Giving Gator Challenge
Each week, the class in every grade level with the most points will earn the Giving Gator Award!
How to Earn Points:
💲 Cash donations: 5 points per dollar
🥫 Food donations: 1 point per item
🌟 Bonus Days: Certain food items will be worth 10 points each. Cash will be 20 points on Friday!
Tonight is our last push for our GLOW RUN! Tomorrow (Thursday, Oct 30th) is the big event for the Upper Elementary
Last Day Challenge..... Be one of the top 4 classes with new online donations from 3:00 PM Wednesday until 8:00 AM on Thursday and win Freckles Ice Cream for the entire class!
Glow in the Dark Face Painting- Bring $2 to school Thursday morning and get your face painted with Glow in the Dark Face Paint before your glow run!

Let’s GLOW Crazy Fun Run
Thursday, Oct 30th in the APB
8:45-9:45 4th grade

1:15-2:15 1st grade
Parents are allowed to attend. We will have the bleachers pulled out and spectators will stay in the bleachers. There will not be room for parents to be on the floor or inside the glow run track. Glow in the dark prizes will be passed out before each grade level’s run time. Please continue to share the fundraising link and help our Glow Run be a successful fundraiser. We are SO close to making our principals spend the night on the playground (less that $3300 away).
10/30- Glow Run Face Painting- Get your face painted before your run with glow in the dark designs for $2
Freckles Friday
Friday, November 7th- Bring $2.00 to school on Friday, November 7th for your child to get to enjoy a yummy Freckles Frozen Custard.
