
Fall Break is Thursday through Monday, October 17 through 21. Classes resume on Tuesday. This is not a distance learning time, so enjoy your time off and long weekend. Schools are closed, the main office will be open Thursday and Monday, but closed Friday the 18th.


The October Friend of Education is American Heritage Bank. Thank you to them for all of their contributions throughout the school year, helping us reach our community.


Help us recognize Darla Kilgore as our support person of the month. Ms. Kilgore works in Child Nutrition and is a vital member of the team that feeds our students.


Congratulations to our elementary certified person of the month, Rachel Calvert. Mrs. Calvert is a counselor at our Upper Elementary.


Congratulations to Mary Grimmett, our secondary certified teacher of the month! She teaches Language Arts to our 5th grade students.

Glenpool Intermediate School hosted the Oklahoma Council of Teachers of English today for their annual fall conference. We were complimented numerous times on our facilities & hospitality. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible.

As we prepare for Homecoming, we want to send you a few reminders of procedures to follow at every Glenpool home football game.
- PK-6th Grade Students: All PK-6th grade students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and remain in the stands unless visiting the restrooms or concession stand.
- Middle School and High School Students: All 7th -12th grade students must remain in the stands unless visiting the restrooms or concession stand.
- Tickets at the gate will be $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students
- No outside food or drinks, including Yeti-type containers
- No Re-Entry: Any person exiting the stadium cannot re-enter.

Piano Lab had their first "Talent Show Friday" today. Each student performed a piece they have learned in class for their classmates. Students supported one another with cheering and applause. Congratulations to piano lab on the progress they are making!

CONGRATULATIONS to ALL 5 of the Prelude Choir members that auditioned to participate in the Eastern District Honor Choir in October. All 5 were selected to participate! For most, this is their first ever choir audition and they totally nailed it. Ms. Lee Moeller is so proud of their hard work.

After-School Homework Club
Program Guidelines [Sept 16-April 24]
Parents/Guardians of 3rd-8th graders interested in receiving free one to one homework assistance at the library, must register each student online.
A library card number is needed to complete the form. Link to register for a library card: www.tulsalibrary.org/get-a-library-card.
The After-School Homework Club Coordinator will contact all qualified registrants and set up a time for parents/guardians and the site facilitator to complete paperwork.
Based on their homework assistance needs, registered students will be assigned a Homework Coach to work with them weekly for up to 30 minutes.

On Saturday, September 28th, Insight Eyecare will host its annual Giving Sight Day charity event at both clinic locations. This means they will provide free eye exams and complete pairs of glasses to those in need. If you know of any students who may benefit, please send them that way.
Doors will open at 8:30am, and exams are provided on a first come first serve basis.
