Warrior Chant April 2025

Message from Superintendent Layton

Parents,

What a great time to be a Warrior! The voters overwhelmingly approved our $53.8 million bond issue that will help improve and build multiple facilities and projects. It will be an exciting and hectic three years as we work toward bringing this vision to fruition.

Our team is diligently working with our architect (KKT) and our construction manager (Miller Tippens) on some of our first projects. We will begin with the construction of the new high school addition and could begin as early as September 2025.

Patrons will also begin to see some of our smaller projects and transportation purchases as money becomes available to us in late summer or early fall. We will update our website as improvements progress so that the community can share in the process.

Again, on behalf of our students, staff, and administration; I thank you for your support of Glenpool Public Schools.

Curtis Layton

State Assessment Support

Oklahoma School Testing Program (OSTP) and College and Career Ready Assessments (CCRA) will take place across our state in April. The Oklahoma State Department of Education has resources that are helpful for parents and students alike. Parent, Student, Teacher Guides (PSTG) are available for every tested grade and subject and may be accessed from our website.

The state has also provided online practice tests to help students get comfortable with the format and flow of the online platform. Access information specific to your student's grade level with these links:
