Help us in recognizing our Elementary Certified Personnel of the Month for May 2026 - Heather Straessle. Mrs. Straessle serves as our Assistant Principal at the Upper Elementary. Here is what a teacher had to say: "Heather has done an excellent job developing and refining our school’s SWAT process! She took the time to walk through each step in detail, easing any uncertainty about the new system. I truly admire how hard she works and how faithfully she shows up each day, overcoming any obstacles, to serve our school in both emotional and academic ways."

A large stack of KUDOS to our Secondary Teacher of the Month for May 2026 - Katie Clark. Mrs. Clark teaches special education English-Language Arts at our Intermediate School. One of her fellow teachers writes, "Katie Clark is new to the special education team at the intermediate. She is an amazing addition to our team. She is helpful, collaborative, and has just jumped right in. We adore her, and she does a fantastic job with the kids."

Congratulations to our Support Personnel of the Month - Jonna Roberts. Jonna is our Transportation Manager. Here is what a colleague had to say about Jonna: "Jonna goes above and beyond for all the activities requiring transportation to make sure the kids get where they’re going safely! " And, "Jonna is one of those people who will do whatever it takes to get things done and make sure everyone around her is supported. She works incredibly hard, always steps up to help others, and truly cares about the kids in our school. She goes out of her way to ensure students have what they need and that staff feel supported, too. Her dedication and problem-solving skills make her such a valuable part of Glenpool Schools!"

A big shout-out to our Elementary Teacher of the Month for April 2026 - Felecia Gibson!
A co-worker writes this about Ms. Gibson: Mrs. Gibson is an amazing teacher! She works so hard to meet her students where they are. She is a master of small groups, reteaching, and enriching! I have watched her growth over the past three years as her partner teacher, and I am so lucky to get to work closely with her to help our students achieve all they can!

Congratulations to Sonja Naulak, our Glenpool Schools Support Employee of the Month for April.
A co-worker shares this: Sonja is always going above and beyond to help wherever she is needed. She always has a smile on her face and is very positive and encouraging. She never hesitates to step in and help translate or make calls when needed. She stands out in the cold at the crosswalk to help keep students safe in the mornings, and she always has a smile on her face when I drive by. She is so sweet and patient with all of the students and staff.
